You can find many great recipes for dog cookies online. It seems that not only is baking for friends and family a delight but so too is baking for your special canine friend. You can purchase dog cookie cutters, which are available in many cute forms including fire hydrants, and bones.

After you have chosen from an array of dog cookie shapes, it's time to choose the recipe and start baking. Is your pooch helping you in the kitchen, licking the batter? How about your kids? This is a great activity to do with the kids. Teach them a bit more about your pet's nutritional needs, and how these dog treats can be used to train your pet.
